The Salary for a Paramedic varies from $33,000 – $45,000 base salary pay in a private Ambulance setting. Paramedics often times work plenty of Overtime hours being that they work 12-24 hour shifts
regularly. The pay a paramedic receives does differ depending on what region they work in, their level of experience, and their qualifications. Often Times Paramedics end up working in Fire Departments where they usually will see a large pay increase. Many Paramedic/Firefighters earn $70,000-100,000 a year.
